A colorful vintage Italian Murano art glass vase, Attributed to Anzolo Fuga, dating to the mid-20th century, distinguished by its playful polka-dot decoration and bold graphic grid pattern.
The vase is formed with a softly rounded shoulder, tapered body, and short cylindrical neck. Its clear-to-milky glass ground is decorated with a striking network of dark linear bands, creating a geometric grid across the surface. Within the individual sections are vibrant applied oval dots in red, orange, green, blue, and yellow, giving the piece a lively, distinctly Modernist character.
The combination of strong geometric structure and saturated color reflects the experimental spirit of postwar Murano glassmaking, when Venetian glasshouses frequently explored abstract pattern, vivid coloration, and sculptural form.
