An elaborate Art Nouveau sculptural relief plaque bearing the signature “A. Mucha” on the reverse, featuring an elegant female portrait surrounded by flowing foliage, flowers, and richly modeled botanical ornamentation.
The irregular circular composition depicts a young woman in left-facing profile, with delicately modeled facial features, abundant flowing hair, and small rose blossoms woven into her elaborate hairstyle.
Surrounding the portrait is an intricate arrangement of trumpet-shaped flowers, sweeping leaves, intertwining stems, and softly folded drapery, creating an exceptionally dimensional and fluid composition characteristic of the Art Nouveau aesthetic.
The plaque features an attractive multicolored patinated metallic finish, combining warm bronze and copper tones with verdigris-green accents and deep burgundy-red floral details.
The reverse bears the incised signature “A. Mucha”, together with the stamped identification number 42056.
