A sophisticated set of six Italian Mid-Century Modern wall sconces, circa 1950's, featuring hand-blown frosted Murano glass shades mounted on polished brass frames.
Each sculptural glass cup is executed using the traditional Bollicine technique, incorporating delicate air bubbles throughout the glass to create subtle texture and visual depth. The softly frosted bodies are contrasted by clear glass rims, producing an elegant layered effect when illuminated.
The shades rest upon streamlined polished brass mounts with gently curved supports and rectangular backplates, reflecting the refined material combinations and understated geometry characteristic of postwar Italian lighting design.
