A sculptural vintage console table by the renowned American furnishings company LaBarge, dating to circa 1980's. The table features an intricately cast patinated bronze base depicting two graceful cranes standing within a naturalistic marsh landscape of lily pads, reeds, rocks, and aquatic vegetation.
The cranes’ elegantly curved necks, long legs, and finely detailed plumage create a dynamic composition while supporting a clear demi-lune glass top. Its transparent surface allows the elaborate bronze sculpture beneath to remain fully visible.
Among the table’s most delightful features are two small, easily overlooked creatures: a tiny frog perched on the central lily pad and a charming turtle emerging along the front of the marsh-like base. These whimsical details reward closer inspection and bring the imaginative wetland scene to life.
