This finely crafted Fabergé-branded decorative egg is a luxurious late 20th-century work inspired by the celebrated Imperial “Love Trophies” Easter Egg. Executed in a refined Louis XVI revival style, the piece reflects the ornate vocabulary and romantic symbolism associated with historic Fabergé creations, while being intended for the modern collector market.
The egg is decorated with translucent pale blue guilloché-style enamel and enriched with elaborate bands of scrolling gilt ornament. It is supported by an architectural cradle composed of four decorative columns linked by swags of enameled floral garlands, accented with pearl-like drops and clear stones in the manner of rose-cut diamonds. The overall effect is richly layered and sculptural, designed to be appreciated from every angle.
The composition rests on an oval white onyx base with inset enamel panels and gilt mounts. The interior is fabric-lined and fitted, and the piece bears a Fabergé signature stamp, consistent with authorized Fabergé revival-era production. Presented in its original fitted Fabergé case, this example offers both visual impact and strong collectible appeal.
