Substantial Damar 925 sterling silver centerpiece bowl / basket, finely worked with ornate repoussé and pierced decoration. The bowl features a shaped scalloped rim, openwork handles, and richly detailed panels with scrolling acanthus leaves, floral motifs, latticework, and rocaille-style ornament throughout.
The form has the presence of a decorative serving basket or formal centerpiece bowl, with a deep rounded body and raised footed base.
