An extraordinary large-scale French Imari porcelain and patinated bronze clock garniture, richly embellished with gilt-bronze mounts. The centerpiece features an enameled circular clock dial inset within a monumental Imari urn, flanked by gilded lion mask handles and surmounted by a finely modeled bronze cherub. The base is adorned with scrolling acanthus and seated cherubs in burnished and patinated bronze.
The matching pair of candelabras are equally ornate, each with scrolling candle arms, ribbon swags, and figural lion handles, all resting on sculptural gilt-bronze bases. The hand-painted Imari palette of cobalt, coral, and goldharmonizes beautifully with the opulent ormolu mounts.
A superb example of late 19th-century French craftsmanship, combining Japonesque porcelain artistry with neoclassical bronze ornamentation—a hallmark of the Belle Époque period.
