Exceptional Neoclassical giltwood console table, made in England in the Late 19th Century, consisting of a hand-carved giltwood table frame having ram heads and feet, as well as a center figure of a putti with a fish-looking tale. The console is adorned with a veined marble top that blend perfectly with the giltwood tones.
This piece was Featured in "English Furniture of the 18th Century" Volume III by Herbert Cescinsky, and was also under the possession of The Indianapolis Museum of Art.
