The salver having shaped ribbed rim with scroll and shell motif, four foliate legs extending from the rim having four scrolling acanthus-form feet with finely chased detail, well with engraved foliate pattern framing central coat-of-arms bearing motto effaced, weight inscribed to reverse 16-7.
Inscription removal underside, unevenness to feet, with loss of detail to engraving, and minor scratches to face, with all wear commensurate to age and use.
