A dramatic large-scale American chandelier from the 20th century, finely constructed in silver-leaf wrought iron and adorned with an abundance of natural rock crystal drops and pendants.
The sculptural frame is composed of sweeping wrought-iron arms finished in silver leaf, creating a graceful open cage-like silhouette with fluid, curving lines. Six candle-style lights extend around the lower body, each balanced by cascading rock crystal elements that lend the fixture a luminous, jewel-like presence.
The chandelier is richly decorated with faceted and polished rock crystal drops in varied forms, including elongated teardrops, irregular naturalistic pendants, and rounded elements.
