An exceptional pair of sculptural wall sconces designed by Albano Poli for Poliarte, the celebrated Murano lighting atelier known for its architectural and experimental glass compositions.

Executed in a distinctly Brutalist style, each sconce is composed of layered, chiseled, and stacked Murano glass elements arranged in a stepped geometric formation. The thick sculptural glass panels display richly textured surfaces creating a powerful interplay of light and shadow.

The central body features transparent and amber-toned textured glass, while the sides are accented with turquoise glass elements, adding a subtle yet striking chromatic contrast. When illuminated, the glass produces a warm, atmospheric glow that enhances the depth and dimensionality of the layered construction.

Albano Poli’s work for Poliarte is highly regarded for its bold architectural presence, material experimentation, and mastery of Venetian glass techniques—qualities beautifully represented in this pair.
