Large late 19th century Chinese export porcelain bowl, decorated in the Rose Medallion / Canton famille rose taste. The bowl features richly painted figural court scenes, floral reserves, birds, butterflies, and dense gilt ornament throughout. The interior is highly decorated with alternating figural and floral panels, centered by a small round medallion, while the exterior continues with matching figural and floral cartouches.
