A striking matched pair of ebonized meubles d’appui (parlor/side cabinets), each richly mounted with gilt‑bronze (ormolu) and hand‑painted Sèvres porcelain plaques. The rectangular tops with projecting/canted front corners sit above a frieze centered by an oval bleu‑céleste ground plaque and flanked by gilt line inlay and small rosettes.
Each case is fitted with a single cupboard door framed by pilaster uprights applied with classical torch and foliate mounts. The doors display a large central oval plaque painted with an amorous pastoral scene within a cast rocaille ormolu surround, and are further embellished by corner and vertical reserves painted with floral sprays on turquoise (bleu‑céleste) grounds. The bases are shaped and molded, set with additional foliate mounts and raised on block feet.
Dimensions (each): 45 in. (H) × 36.5 in. (W) × 16 in. (D)
